Please book as early as you can, since Asheville gets busy in the fall.  Lots more hotels, bed and breakfasts, things to do in Asheville, etc. can be found here.

A couple favorite attractions for out-of-towners:

The Biltmore House  Really amazing.  Leave at least a half day if you are going to go for it.  Really unique.

The Blue Ridge Parkway Also amazing, and cheaper than the Biltmore House.  Mt. Pisgah and Mt. Mitchell are two beautiful destinations within an hour of Asheville.

Laughing Seed Restaurant  The great downtown veggie restaurant where Eric used to work.  You won’t miss the meat.

Tudor House Bed and Breakfast  Lovely innkeepers who are friends of ours.  Very close to the airport, but about 25 minutes from downtown.

Downtown  Really fun!  More yummy art/craft/music/food than we’ve been able to glean in years of being here.  Walkable, social.
